30 day anniversary

i just read in my previous post about my ten day anniversary discovering teddy geiger.. made a quick calculation and realised today is my 30 day anniversary of discovering teddy geiger!!! ONE MONTH!! feels like longer than that. teddy geiger is the best! i love you jonathan theodore geiger II.

i'm baaaaack

so i'm back from taiwan and it's bloody cold here in perth but it's good coz it was bloody hot and sticky over there. did you guys miss me??? you had better have or no gifts for you!! jjks. there wasn't much over there and besides the shopping it was a kind of average holiday. not much stuff to buy over there but i did get my hair done and now i have an asian afro . yeah that's right an afro. lol. it's most probably coz i don't take care of it properly like ur supposed to and put mousse in it and all that stuff. anyway while we were there, there was a typhoon and we couldnt go out for four days. which kinda sucked coz that's almost a third of our holiday. GAY. there was alot of food and i think i put on like 3kg =( noooooooooo!!!!!! the shopping was good. we were in an area called 'tai chung' and they had night markets and i scored converse all stars for something like $35 aussie. i bought two pairs. they are green and blue. woohoo! and i got another two pairs of green and blue shoes which are very cute. they have a tiny heel on them and they like my green star shoes but they got spots. i think they are adorable. i also bought dresses when i was there. i think the main difference between clothes here and over there is that everything over there is "free size". also i got contacts... it takes me a while to get them in still coz i can't open my eye up really big so i stand in front of the mirror trying to open my eye. yeah still getting used to sticking the actual contact in my eye but it's pretty cool not having to wear glasses but i'm scared if i rub my eye or sumthing it will pop out.. and also if i get like an eyelash in my eye what do i do??

basically the holiday in taichung was sleeping, eating and shopping. we went to see a mountain called mount ali and it was soooooo pretty. it was beautiful but we didn't stay for long. when we were driving up there my sister had to vomit and it was gross. we saw these really pretty lakes though, it was called two sister lakes. and inside the big lake there was tadpoles. ALOT of tadpoles.

the night markets were packed with people and i rmb at one point trying to get out of the market there was like a traffice jam of ppl and you have to like shove your way out. that's the only bad thing coz ppl and smelly and sweaty.

also went to another lake called 'sun moon lake' and that was absolutely gorgeous. it's a man made lake though but it was still really really nice. it's like one of the most famous things to go see in taiwan and you have to go see it because it really is gorgeous.

after we spent 11 days in taichung we took a coach bus thing up to taipei and spent some time there. in taipei we went to this HUGE shopping mall called taipei 101. it is the worlds tallest building since 2004 and it also holds the world's fastest elevator. we went up 84 floors in 42 seconds!! that's REALLY fast. that shopping centre only had designer stuff tho so i didn't buy anything. but i DID walk into a louis vuitton store wearing thongs. bet you can't say you've done that!!

and i ate squid eyes! it didn't taste like chicken- it tasted like squid. it was yummy.

another thing that happened is that i saw S.H.E. sing some songs. they're good live but it's mostly the chick that's like a guy who sings the most. couldnt see much, there was alot of people and we stood up on a ledge but there was this pole in the way so you could only see selina and ella. and they were like 30 minutes late. i couldn't be bothered getting their autograph so i didn't.

we walked past a restaurant called 'marihuana' as opposed to 'marijuana' and that was funny. their symbol thing was a marijuana leaf. oh and i also saw this pub like thing that was called diagon alley. (like from harry potter). don't believe me? i have pictures.

that's all i can think of that happened. i cbb posting pics up but one day i will... maybe. i need to go to uni to buy uni books arghhhhhh. someone come with me!! argh uni starts in like a week. don't wanna go back. i was pretty happy with my results though. i think i just scraped a credit in IS which is ok coz i hate IS. how much is a credit worth? it's like 65 right?

anyway, i'll blog later again. somebody come buy books with me!! eeeeeeek!!!!

FREO BY 37 POINTS!!!! i am no longer a virgin football goer!! i had the most awesome time at the footy! it was fucking awesome! screamed my lungs out and waved my freo flag!!!! i got to sit in the cheer squad three rows from the front!! fucking awesome but nearly got hit by the footy a couple of times!! had an AWESOME time anyway!! now i got a major crush on michael johnson (but i still love teddy)! such a hottie!! (can you believe he's brent johnson's cousin??) OMG the footy was AWESOME!!!!!!! going again!! had SOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!!! eeeeeeeek!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREO BABY!!!

ten days

it is 12.16am perth time and so that makes it the 7th of july 2006. i just realised it's my TEN DAY ANNIVERSARY of discovering teddy geiger! you will see in my blog that i discovered him on the 27th of june. ten days!! wow- can't believe it's been such a short time! feels like i've known his music forever! that's probably because i've listened to "for you i will" over 100 times over the course of the ten days that i have been absolutely gobsmackingly in love with jonathon theodore geiger II. yes i know i'm obsessed you don't have to tell me. i just really really REALLY REALLY like his music ( and him) as you can tell. i think it's a good thing i'm obsessed with him and not something really random like pokemon.

stuff that happened the past few days

MONDAY -- i discovered BEN FOLDS FIVE!! omg they've been around for almost ten years and i only discovered them on monday. i'm so duh!! if you don't know who they are MUST HAVE download songs by them are "brick" and "battle of who could care less" from the "whatever and ever amen" album. SOOOOOOO good!!!! "battle of who could care less" is an AWESOME song. it's so catchy and truthful. you must get it if you haven't got it. yeah it's gonna be one of my most favourite songs i think.

TUESDAY -- people went to sizzlers and i went too. the food isn't that great but i went anyway and it was pretty fun. danielle ate like a slice of cheese toast (which is the only good thing they got) packed with half a bottle of pepper as a dare from agnes for $10. i swear that girl will do anything for money i think. then after that i played guitar and then i had to go to work. work was boring but i guess you just gotta go. man teddy geiger is a bloody genius. i can sorta play his song on guitar but bcoz i haven't played in ages i still suck at it. but i will practice hard.

WEDNESDAY -- went out with vanessa to the city for shopping. she had lots of money but she hardly spent any of it. i spent more than her and i'm BROKE! i bought a pink jacket (which i kinda regret now) and a top from cotton on. she bought a red hat (yay!) and a jacket from cotton on. then i came home and bummed around for an hour (i'm good at that) and then went online and downloaded stuff and did some "surfing". you can probably guess what i was looking up hehe. then later in the night had a sms convo with this guy coz it was his birthday and i hadn't talked to him for a while. he's going to the conservatorium to study next year which is very very VERY cool and he's going to do a jazz degree which i think is extremely sexy but don't tell him that because his mum would go a little crazy. what's more is he's going to get a DOUBLE BASS!! which are about $3000 and THAT is the epitome of cool when it comes to string instruments. it's awesome. one day when he gets famous from becoming a session player i will be able to say i knew him when he was the boy who farted all the time and fixed typewriters.

THURSDAY -- slept in til 12pm and it felt SOOOO good!! ahhh i love sleeping in! the right side of my face is swelling up again. i thought it was because i sang too long and too loudly the past couple days but apparently i have an infection (ewww). i had to go to the surgeon and he prescribed me an antibiotic which is stronger than penicillin (i think that's how you spell it-is it one n or two n's? correct me please if i'm wrong!!) and i have to take it for the next six days. which means i have to take it when i'm overseas. at least the capsules are smaller than those amoxil capsules i had to take. ooo i'm leaving in two days yay!!

TOMORROW (the future) -- going to hang out with alvin during the day. we will listen to ben folds five (all their cds) and i will make him transcribe "brick" for me and the music from highschool musical (man that movie was good) then that evening i'm GOING TO THE FOOTBALL!!! yay!! dockers versus essendon so we should win. when i say should i mean going to but with our form at the moment... NO-- WE WILL WIN! eeeek can't wait!! going to be sooo good!

THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW -- saturday- last minute packing. actually- packing- coz i haven't started yet. then that night i will be flying away! yay! i'm excited about aeroplane food! woohoo! and free movies on the plane! going to be awesome.. hmmm i hope they got tetris. that will be fun! when i'm over there i'm gonna get contacts and a new haircut- i hope it turns out good. SHOPPING!! yay! can't wait to do some major shopping and spend some major money! gonna be so awesome!!
